One To One Explained
At GOMYCODE, we offer a personalized service called One to One. It's designed to provide you with individualized support and guidance from experienced mentors. With the guidance of an experienced mentor, you'll be able to deepen your understanding of the material and receive targeted feedback that helps you to overcome any obstacles that you may encounter.
Definition
We offer two types of One to One, automated and face to face with you.
After your student submits his checkpoint, he will be asked to take a "One to One". It will be either with you (Face to Face) or automated (Face to machine).
FAQ
What happen if I lost internet ?
Make sure you have a stable internet, If you something went wrong reach out to the support team to fix your issue.
You need to be clear about the timer before the starting of the One to One, but if something went wrong a review will be conducted and a decision will be made as to whether the conditions are met to rearrange the One to One.
No need, because the date it is not mandatory.
That means that the One to One is assigned to another instructor and you need to report it to the support team.
Face to Face <One to One>
Once the student has booked the One to One, the meeting date will appear on your calendar.
At the meeting with the student, a list of questions will appear, which you will ask the student one at a time and evaluate the answer instantly during the meeting.
1- You get the Face to Face One to One in the confirmed section
2- Once you pick the One to One you get details of duration, ground rules. Some notes to keep in mind before starting.
3- Click on “Start” to begin the One to One.
💡 If you are not ready, you can click on “Return”
💡 The timer starts (Green 100% ⇒ Orange at 50% ⇒ Red at 20%)
NB: Once the time starts, the one-to-one will close after the stated duration.
⚠️ If you refreshes the screen during the one-to-one, the timer will not stop.
⚠️If you leave the page and returns after the timer duration ends, you won’t be able to finish the one-to-one. you will only be able to submit his feedback
⚠️If you leave the page and return before the timer duration end, you will be able to continue, but the time will be lost.
💡 Be sure to leave enough time between the time you take to ask the student your questions and the time the student takes to answer them, as there is a timer that once completed the one-on-one will be concluded.
Scenario 1 ⇒ Finish before the timer ends

- ”Test Completed” pop-up appears
- Clicking on the button “Submit your feedback” moves you directly to feedback
- Click on “Submit”

- You can see the correction and score upon clicking on the One to One

- “Time’s up” Pop-up appears
- Clicking on the button “Submit your feedback” moves you directly to feedback
- Click on “Submit”

Automated <One to One>
The online/automated One to One will be passed by the student alone, without your intervention.
Once the student has completed passing their One to One, your dashboard will display the number of pending One to Ones, indicating the number of One to Ones to be graded.
When you access a student's One to One, you will see an interface containing the following sections:
- The question
- The student's answer
- The correct answer
- 3 grading options (Correct - Close - False)
You are asked to rate each student's response.
- You get the Automated One to One in the confirmed section
- Click on the icon to start correction
- You are able to see all the usual details ( Student details, The question, The correct answer, The student’s response)
Click on the proper option : “False”, “Close” or “Correct”
💡 You can return to previous questions to modify the mark if needed.
- For the Unanswered questions, It appear to you as “ Student didn’t reply”
- After finishing the marking, you are redirected to the “Instructor’s feedback” section
- Type your feedback and click on “Submit”

- You can see the correction and score by entering the closed One to One
