LabPhase - Instructor

The Lab Phase serves as the ultimate learning project offered in all tracks, where you effectively utilize the skills obtained during your training. It encompasses multiple phases, each with its unique objectives, instructions, resources, and evaluation criteria.

Except for the general information seen by all users, Instructors have correction guidelines and links made specifically for them. That can be found on the general details page of the project

What happens when a student submits a project request?

When a student submits a project request, instructors receive the request and can choose to edit, approve, or reject it. all requests can be found in the Labphase > Student’s project > Applications

What happens when I approve a student's request?

If a student's request is approved, they unlock the first project and can start working on it. once they reach 100% learning progress

What happens when I reject a student's request?

If a student's request is rejected, they have to submit another request.

What happens when a student submits their work for a phase?

When a student submits their work for a phase, instructors can evaluate it based on the criteria provided and provide feedback. Student work can be accessed from Labphase > Student’s project > Labphases, one a student project is opened, the Instructor can view all the phases (steps) and their statuses

How are Labphase projects evaluated?

Labphase projects are evaluated based on the student's work on each phase as well as their presentation of the project at the end. The evaluation criteria include both project-related and performance-related criteria. For the work-related criteria, the instructor has to select if the student did it or not, provide score and feedback if necessary For the performance-related criteria, the instructor has to give a score

Can I skip some phase’s validation ?

No, you cannot skip some phase's validation, you must correct the phases in order.

What happens if  I reject a Labphase phase?

If a Labphase phase is rejected, the student will receive feedback from their instructor to help them improve and must resubmit their work for that phase

What is the overall score based on Labphase projects?

The overall score for Labphase projects is based on the score obtained by the student in each step, overall criteria, and final presentation criteria.

What can I see in my view of all Labphase projects?

Instructors can see a list of ongoing or completed projects, along with their latest status, title, project selected, track, start date, and instructor. They can also see the total number of projects under each status.

What happens after I approve all the phases?

After overseeing the student's project and validating all phases, the instructor can evaluate and close the project, providing feedback to the student about their project. once validated, the whole project is closed and the Labphase Report is generated along with the diploma
